When can I gain access?
- You can gain access to your storage unit 7
days a week, between the hours of 7am and
7pm. Access outside of these hours is
restricted for your added security.
How do I gain access?
- Each customer has their own individual
swipe card which is used to open our
computerised security gate. Simply drive in
and use your padlock key to open your unit.
Quality padlocks are available for sale from
management.
What about security?
- Firstly, the complex is totally enclosed
with security fencing and our computerised
gate records every entry and exit. This
means that we automatically log the comings
and goings of every individual who accesses
Putaruru Self Storage. There are regular
patrols of the complex to ensure the
facility as a whole as well as all
individual storage units are safe and
secure. These patrols are carried out at
regular intervals by management staff during
the
day and a security firm at night. Motion
sensor security lighting also operates on
site during the hours of darkness.
What about pests?
- All units are both vermin proof and damp
proof. High quality seals surrounding all
doors ensure both pests and weather are kept
out, while regular pest control procedures
are also undertaken.
How can I pay?
- The first months rent is paid in advance
by cash or cheque to management when an
agreement to rent storage is entered. All
subsequent storage is paid for monthly in
advance by automatic payment unless
negotiated otherwise with management. A bond
is paid when moving in which is refundable
in full at end of storage provided that the
access card is returned, storage fees are
paid in full and the bonded unit is clean
and undamaged.
What about insurance?
- It is your responsibility to notify your
insurance provider that such goods are in
storage and arrange adequate cover
accordingly.
What size unit do I need?
- We have 6 different sizes so that you only
need to pay for the space that you require.
Our friendly and professional staff will
help you to choose the size to best suit
your needs. |
